[It's strange, his pillow actually feels like a decent size for once. But Nishinoya's laughter and that remark have him turning his head away finally, glancing over. A baby?]

[And then he glances at himself. And how this shirt doesn't fit him at all... oh no.] D-did I shrink?!
[Nishinoya's legs thump against the bed as he kicks them lightly, his laughter continuing for a while longer.]
You did, you shrank and got super tiny! H-hahaha! [Eventually though, the position gets uncomfortable, and so Nishinoya pulls his legs off and onto the floor. Some snickering continues as he tries to pull himself up, and after a while he ends up on his feet, grinning wide at Asahi.]
Look at how big I got!
[He'd already removed his shirt once he'd woken up (as he had to, since the darn thing felt so small and tight on his torso) so all he's wearing is boxers. They're a snug fit, but they at least cover the essential parts.]
[Asahi jumps a little when Nishinoya thumps against the bed, but he just carefully pushes himself to sit up; nothing fits him, not even his boxers, already slipping down. It he ever felt more uncomfortable than today... And it's only just begun. He crosses his legs, then pulls the shirt over his knees.]
I feel like I'm ten... [He's the right height for it.] But... you're so tall. I... wonder what changed.
[It's really hard not to look at Asahi without laughing, but he doesn't want to make it seem like he's teasing him or anything, so Nishinoya keeps a straight face for the time being. He sure does fit his personality now, all meek and tiny. The way he can hide into his clothes is kind of cute too.]
I bet it's cause I made that wish! After we won that thing with the chips, the letter we got said we could ask for any kinda thing to happen. I really wanted to try bein' tall and make all you tall guys feel what it's like to be short!
[Feeling odd about the high view he has and not quite liking the sensation of "looking down" at Asahi, Nishinoya crouches next to the bed and sits on the floor, his arms crossed atop the bed. His body is long enough that he can manage it just fine.]
I didn't think you were gonna end up so small though. You're shorter than I was!
[His wish... Well, Noya did want to be tall, so it makes sense. Asahi watches Noya sit, then frowns a little and leans over. A tiny hand reaches over and touches Noya's arm--the contrast is almost amazing for how weird it is.]
You're even taller than Tsukishima... Taller than everyone I remember playing against, too.
[Now you are the smol volley, Asahi. Nishinoya just feels a little bad for letting this happen to their ace, but somehow he knows that Asahi doesn't mind. In fact, he probably likes it. There's no way anyone would be intimidated by such a small person. It's like a dream for him too.
...now that kind of annoys him. But Noya is too distracted by how funny Asahi looks to feel that way. When Asahi reaches out for him, Nishinoya grins and is about to take his hand--
Until a loud outburst comes out of him.]
Asahi-san!! That means Tsukishima and Kageyama are as small as you!
[HE IS NOW THE SMOL. He actually does like being the smol... It's weird, but it's not completely uncomfortable. He won't break things and he can hide and people probably won't say anything...
But Noya's outburst has him flailing backwards, and he falls onto his pillows.]
EH?! [He got excited over that? but... it makes sense. His eyes widen.]
....I think you and Hinata might be the tallest... We have to find everyone.
[This is karma at its finest, how could he not be excited? Granted he might feel a bit bad for Kageyama but Tsukishima is a big jerk that could stand to be put down a peg or two for once, and now it has literally happened.]
That's right, Shouyou's gotta be a giant now too! But I really wanna see Tsukishima and Kageyama looking like little kids! Small, mad kids! Hahaha! We have to see everyone! [Nishinoya stands, pumped up and ready to go... until he looks down.]
Ah... Asahi-san, can I borrow a shirt and pants? None of my clothes are gonna fit anymore. --you can borrow mine too! I'll get you something!
[And before Asahi can answer, Nishinoya is already heading toward the closet.]
