[He sees the name when he's scrolling through looking for the other people Suga mentioned having made friends with here. He's certain that name wasn't here before, but maybe it's not who he thinks.]
[a plain pale blue looking envelope is placed in asahi's mailbox around noon time! inside is a cute looking invitation. on the back of it there's a hand written message that says:
bring your own bathing suit!
you're getting this late because he didn't have any extra invites on him at the welcome party, oops.]
[B-but that's... tomorrow?! Is this okay?! BUT AREN'T THEY THE OPPOSING TEAM, IS IT OKAY TO GO TO THE BIRTHDAY PARTY? He doesn't even have a swim suit, or know where the sports center is (and what would 'Iwa-chan' even want as a gift) DOES HE HAVE TIME TO BUY A GIFT
way to give him the worst stressor of a lifetime in the form of cute stationary.]

[Asahi's shoulders tense up at the pressure, but when he realizes it's Noya, he ends up relaxing a little. The fact that he's getting used to Noya bothering him is... half upsetting and half a relief. Makes the heart attacks lessen, in any case.]
Ah... o-okay?!
[Their task... He reaches for his own phone with one hand, his other trying to keep a hold on Noya to keep him from falling off.] Let me get one too.
[ ...."Buy something (anything) for someone and give it to them." huh? Okay, he can do that. So, Yukihina chooses a random victim, and sends a gift, with a note "with love♥♥♥♥" attached to the plastic bag it's half-heartedly wrapped in. ]
[I hope you weren't sleeping too deeply Asahi, because at some random hour of the day (probably pretty early), Nishinoya ends up shaking him awake very impatiently. The fact that he's shouting won't make it easy to ignore him by the way.]
Asahi-san! Asahi-san, wake up!! Something amazing happened!!
[He had been and he having a really nice dream about cows and math, too. Asahi's bundled under his blanket until the shouting begins, and it has the now-tiny Ace blinking his eyes open slowly.]
Good day, Azumane-san. I'm Watanabe Hisashi, one of the members of the baseball team. [Semi-officially, at least. Anyway...] Is it all right if we meet up? Whenever you're available that is.
[Today would be the perfect time to stay cuddled up under the blankets and sleep in longer than usual, as is fitting for any snow day during winter. Except this is Nishinoya we're talking about. Ain't nobody got time for that.
His internal alarm clock sets off as his eyes slowly open, then when he realizes it's morning, he darts up-- then shivers before wiggling in a little more into the bed. It's pretty cold. But he's definitely awake, and that means if he's awake, Asahi needs to be awake too.]
Asahi-san, wake up. [Nishinoya is at least a little more courteous this time around, keeping his voice down while reaching out to ruffle Asahi's bed head from where it peeks out atop his cocoon of blankets. He snickers a little and runs a hand through his own mess of hair.
He completely misses the mistletoe that happens to be floating just a few inches above his head.] Asahi-saaaan, it's morning!
[Asahi, on the other hand, enjoys his slumber. With how cold it is outside, he's feeling far too warm and toasty indoors, curled up in his heavy pile of blankets with no intention of waking up before noon (although he's resigned to the fact that his internal alarm will get him up before nine, but he can dream). But sleeping in has always been easier when it's cold, and he wants to take advantage of it.
Or could, before he hears the ever familiar voice of Nishinoya calling to him. Asahi groans, and his face turns into the pillow.]
Feels too early. 'n cold. [And with that, he curls in a bit more, pulling his face further underneath the blankets. Try again, Nishinoya, it may take more effort to get him awake.]
